Hi, I have an Acer 5253, with Windows 7. The speaker device that comes installed into the computer, HDMI High Definition Audio Device, is not working. When I open the menue for the audio, it says "no speakers or headphones are installed." I plugged in many sets of headphones but none are detected. Troubleshooting does not detect the problem. When I try to listen to something on the computer on this installed device, the computer detects its presence but says that "it is not plugged in." Upon Further exploration of the Device's menue, the computer says "Device is not plugged in. It cannot work properly." How am I supposed to "Plug in" this device? When I bought the computer, the speaker worked fine. But I got it repaired due to an internal malfunction that had nothing to do with audio, and when I got it back... the audio didn't work. The issue with the computer was 100% resolved but the Audio is not "plugged in." So how do i fix this? Any idea? Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
